Deep Healing Work
What and why we do deep work:
Almost all of us carry wounds from childhood, adolescence, and beyond. Many of these experiences may not even register as "trauma" because they don’t fit the traditional definition. Yet these early patterns, even if unhealthy, shape how we relate to ourselves and the world in the present. Exploring and understanding these core experiences—whether they were explicitly traumatic or not—is essential to addressing the underlying causes of distress in areas like physical health, emotional well-being, and relationships. Deep healing requires us to gently and skillfully work with these wounds, allowing space for lasting transformation.
How to do deep work:
In my approach to deep healing, I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate and highly effective therapeutic model. IFS helps us understand the different "parts" within us—those protective, wounded, or reactive parts—and how they interact. By creating a safe, non-judgmental space, I help you connect with these parts, uncover their stories, and ultimately access your "Self," the calm, centered core within you that holds the wisdom to heal.
Through this process, we explore the roots of your struggles with curiosity and compassion, moving beyond surface-level symptoms to address the deeper layers of your experience. IFS is particularly powerful because it allows us to approach even the most painful feelings with care, helping to release the emotional burdens they've been carrying. You can learn more about IFS and its approach here.
What does deep healing work look like:
Deep healing work is a journey that unfolds at your pace. Together, we’ll start by exploring what feels most present and activated for you—whether that's a current challenge or a more subtle discomfort. Using IFS and other intuitive practices, we’ll begin to compassionately move toward the parts of you that are carrying pain, while staying mindful of your limits and readiness.
As we work, I’ll help you connect with your "edges" in a safe and skillful way, allowing space for healing emotions to emerge and be released. This journey is rarely linear or predictable; it’s dynamic and organic, guided by your needs in the moment. Over time, this process leads to greater clarity, self-connection, and a deeper sense of wholeness, helping you express the unique and authentic version of yourself.
